It’s not intended to “put you” on a path. It’s intended to “reveal” the path you chosen to be on.

But it seems to be kind of…they’re having a big joke with me sometimes because I’ll be listening…I’ll be thinking about my taxes which I have brought about…

It’s not “trying to tell you” anything,

it’s “revealing to you” the vibrational state that you are in at the moment as a marker to show you where you are, and allow you decide if you wish to continue in that direction or change it.
