How Free Will and Destiny work in life?
I want to know, to what extent does choice were free will play into destiny?
我想知道，在何種程度的選擇之下，自由意志會在命運中扮演怎麼樣的角色？
Well, it’s a combination of the two, what you’re calling destiny, is simply the theme you chose to explore from another level.
嗯，這是兩者的結合，你們所謂的「命運」，就只是你們在另一個(較高的)意識層次「選擇要來探索的人生課題」。
So, as we often do, we create an analogy as if destiny is the hallway that you chose to walk down.
所以，如同往常那樣，我們創造了這個比喻：「命運，就像一道你選擇走進的門廊。」
That’s the theme you will explore. This particular hallway the way it looks, with how many doors it has and what color it has, all of that will be the so-called destiny.
那是你將要探索的主題。這道你所選的獨特門廊看起來，會有幾扇門、會有哪些顏色等，所有那些境況，都是所謂的「命運」。
But, it’s left up to the free will of the personality as the “how you’ll explore that hallway?”
但，它取決於你們個人的「自由意志」，取決於「你將如何探索那道特定的門廊？」
You can walk, you can run, you can fly, you can jump, you can go backward, you can go forward, you can be happy, you can be sad, you can look in every door, you can ignore them all. That’s your free will, as how to explore the theme, because you’re the one that chose the theme from a higher level.
你可以邁開步伐；可以奔跑；可以飛翔；可以跳躍；可以退後；可以前進；
你可以開心；可以難過；可以探望進每一扇門，也可以完全忽視它們。
這就是「你如何選擇探索人生課題」的自由意志，因為你就是那在更高意識層次上，選擇你人生探索主題的人。
So, destiny is simply your free will from a higher level, but from this level, it looks like something fixed because that’s the theme you chose to explore.
因此，命運就只是「你在更高意識層次的自由意志」所做的選擇而已，但是從這(你頭腦的意識)層次看來，這像是個牢固的東西，因為，這是你已選擇要探索的主題。
Again, another analogy we’ve often used, it’s like saying, well, you’ve joined the chess club, and you’re going to play chess, you’re going to follow the rule of the chess game. That’s your destiny.
我再說一次另一個我們常用的比喻：就像「你已參加了一個西洋棋社團，而你要開始下棋了，你得開始遵照西洋棋的比賽規則，那規則就是你的命運。」
You can’t play checkers in the chess game, that’s another reality, that’s another destiny.
你不能在西洋棋比賽中玩圍棋，因為那是另一個實相了，那是另一種規則命運。
But, you’re free to use what kind of pieces you want, you’re free to use what kind of strategy you want as long as you play the game of chess.
但是，只要是在西洋棋的比賽中，選擇哪一個棋子是你的自由，選擇用什麼策略也是你的自由。
So, free will, destiny go hand- in hand. It’s just a theme, you have to decide to explore, but it’s up to you, how to explore it.
所以，「自由意志」和「命運」是緊密相連的。它只是個「你必須決定去探索的主題」而已，但，要如何探索這主題，是由你決定的。
