你可能不相信神(God)，不相信有「神」這回事。然而，你必定相信有「生命」這回事，因為你就是生命(Life)，並且無時無刻都身在其中經歷著 Life——生命、人生、生活。
你可能認為神只是「好的」不是「壞的」、只是「善的」不是「惡的」，然而，「惡」是那讓我們在地球二元世界能夠體驗「善」的東西，「壞」是那讓我們能夠體驗「好」的東西。善與惡、好與壞、美與醜、正與邪…都是Life(生活、人生、生命)的一部分，也是神的一部分。生命如是，神即一切。
讓我們一起來為「更了解生命的運作過程、更完整地認識神」，嚴格檢視這點：
是否可能【神是個「稱為生命的非凡特殊歷程」？】
你們有些人一直認為神不是生命，反倒認為，神站在生命外邊，創造生命，卻不是生命。
我告訴你們：「生命」和「神」兩者是可以互換的。
當你了解這層道理時，你將了解新靈性的基礎，你將對神有個「一個字的定義」 (one-word-definition，如神、生命、歷程等 )，而你將擁有一個活出新靈性之幾乎自動的內在指引系統(inner guidance system)───它能改變你們星球上的集體經驗。
尼爾：真的很難接受一個 「告訴我們不必相信神」的神。我已習慣於一位會苛求的神，他不僅要我必須相信祂，而且還精確地告訴我，我必須如何相信祂、我必須相信祂什麼，以及我為什麼必須相信祂。
你認為生命會在乎你是否相信它嗎？
生命並不會走開，也不會看你對它感覺如何，而對你有絲毫不同的對待。生命只是「如是」，無論你是否相信它，並不會改變或影響生命的一絲一毫。
如果你不相信生命，生命也不會「懲罰」你；如果你相信，生命也不會「獎賞」你。生命不會客觀地創設獎賞和懲罰。生命是一個歷程。(Life is a process.)
尼爾：但是，如果「神」和「生命」兩字是可以互換的，那麼，這就表示，神也是個「歷程」？
沒錯。神是個歷程。(God is a process.)
神並非一個單一的超級生命體，而是個稱為生命的非凡特殊歷程。(God is not a singular Super Being, but the extraordinary process called Life.)

That is because some of you have been imagining that God is NOT Life, but rather, that God stands outside of Life, creating Life, but not being it. Yet I tell you this: The words “Life” and “God” are interchangeable.
When you understand this, you will understand the basis of the New Spirituality, you will have a one-word definition of Tomorrow’s God, and you will have the makings of an almost automatic inner guidance system for living the New Spirituality that can change the collective experience on your planet.
Neale: It is just so hard to accept a God who says that we do not have to believe in God. I am so used to a demanding God who not only says that I have to believe in Him, but tells me exactly how I have to believe in Him, what I have to believe about Him, and why I have to believe in Him.
Do you think that Life cares whether you believe in Life?
Life does not go away, and it does not treat you any differently, depending upon how you feel about it. Life simply is, and your believing in it or not believing in it does nothing to change that or to affect that. Life will not “punish” you if you do not believe in Life, nor will Life “reward” you if you do. Life does not objectively create rewards and punishments. Life is a process.
Neale: But if the words “God” and “Life” are interchangeable, this would mean that God is a process.
That is correct. God is a process.
Tomorrow’s God is not a singular Super Being, but the extraordinary process called Life.
